The Clarkson Advantage

State-of-the-Art Facilities

All three of our graduate programs are housed in the historical and newly renovated Clarkson Hall, including classrooms, offices, research laboratories, a cadaver lab, a health sciences library, an assistive technology lab and a simulation facility.

Professional Partnerships

The Health Sciences programs benefit from close cooperation with the St. Lawrence Health System. Its flagship facility, Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH), is within a mile of campus and provides students the opportunity to interact with patients and medical staff.

Inter-professional Education

The Health Sciences are housed in the Lewis School of Health Sciences, with close collaboration with the Biology, Chemistry, and Biomolecular Science and Psychology departments, as well as interconnections with the Coulter School of Engineering and the Reh School of Business.

Global Reach

Our students come from all over the United States, from as close as our own Potsdam, New York, to as far as Fairbanks, Alaska, and Miami, Florida. While many of our clinical rotation sites are local, students frequently choose sites across the country. Our DPT and PA programs also provide annual opportunities for students to undertake international service work.
